Explanation of Product Features

• MAKE OUTGOING CALLS ON EITHER LINE
  • Both products will allow you to MAKE Outgoing calls on BOTH attached telephone lines.
•  RECEIVE INCOMING CALLS ON EITHER LINE
  • Both products will allow you to RECEIVE Incoming calls on BOTH attached telephone lines.
•  PROGRAMMABLE LINE CHANGE CODE
  • Outgoing calls are automatically connected to the Default Outgoing line. To make an outgoing call on the alternative line, you must first press *
    • This digit cannot be changed on VOIP SELECTOR.
    • With LINE SELECTOR, you can change the * Line Change code to any other single digit code.
    • This can be important if * conflicts with other equipment on your telephone line.  
• PROGRAMMABLE LINE CHANGE DELAY
  • Whenever the ALTERNATIVE LINE is selected to make an outgoing call, there is a short delay after detecting *.
    • This time cannot be change on VOIP SELECTOR. 
    • With LINE SELECTOR, you can change the Line Change delay time anywhere between immediate and 9 seconds. 
    • This flexibility can be useful for certain applications., including the use of automatic dialling equipment. 
• OTHER LINE CALL ADVICE FACILITY
  • LINE SELECTOR can be set to inject "Call Advise Tones" into your Line 1 or Line 2 call to alert you that you have an incoming call on the other line.
  • It will also allow you to place the existing call ON HOLD and allow you to ANSWER the other call by pressing * on your telephone.
  • You can return to the other call at any time by pressing *, or toggles between calls.
• OTHER LINE BUSY OUT FACILITY
  • LINE SELECTOR will allow you to individually "Busy Out" Line 1 or Line 2, when the other line is in use.
  • This means that you can prevent being disturbed on your primary line (or both lines) from calls on the other line.
• AUTOMATIC LINE CHANGE FACILITY
  • LINE SELECTOR can be set to automatically select Line 2 to make outgoing calls whenever Line 1 is in use.
  • Saves you having to press the Line Change command.
  • This flexibility can be useful for certain applications such as when using automatic dialling equipment.
